World religions

Morality in the Modern World: War and Peace

Christianity: Belief and Science

RMPS courses aim to allow students to:

·         develop a philosophical approach to the study of beliefs, values and issues which are of importance in the world today

·         gain an insight into how these beliefs and values affect the lives of followers of world religions

·         develop knowledge and understanding of moral, philosophical and theological issues which arise from religious and non-religious beliefs

·         think critically about their own beliefs and those of others and gain insight into ideas, arguments and viewpoints which may conflict with their own

·         reach conclusions about religious, moral and philosophical issues and present these in a structured manner
