S3 AND S4 - CORE RELIGIOUS, MORAL AND PHILOSOPHICAL STUDIES

The purpose of RME in S3 and S4 is to develop a knowledge and understanding of religious, moral and philosophical issues and how these relate to personal or practical contexts.

Students will have the opportunity to explore questions raised by religions and philosophy and the solutions or approaches they offer.  They will be asked to critically reflect on these and their own experiences and viewpoints.  The course also includes a study of non-religious viewpoints on approaches to morality and key aspects of contemporary religious debates.
