The Intermediate 2 qualification in Spanish offers learners the opportunity to reach a worthwhile level of competence in the language, and to function competently in a fairly broad range of personal and/or work-related contexts. Learners gain skills in using the language beyond beginner-level and in an increasing number of new situations.

The course develops skills in using Spanish within the contexts of lifestyles, education and work, and the wider world. It also offers further options in extended reading or viewing and personal communication, and in using the language interactively in work situations.
