Life at Dunblane High School

Welcome to Dunblane High School

Dunblane High School has a strong tradition of providing a high quality of education for all its pupils, setting the highest expectations and recognising and rewarding pupil success.  We aim to create a happy, caring and ordered community.

We want our young people to leave Dunblane High School with the attributes, values and principles which will allow them to achieve their full potential, whilst at our school and into and throughout their adult life.

The school motto ‘Prospice Ultra Montes’ translates to ‘look beyond the Mountains’ and we endeavour to inspire and motivate our young people to be ambitious and positive in everything they do.

Relationships between staff and young people at Dunblane High School is central to ensuring that needs are met and that every young person is supported and challenged appropriately.  Staff provide universal and individualised support for our young people to help them fulfil their potential.

Strong relationships with parents/carers and all our school partners is a crucial component in ensuring that we as a school meet our responsibilities and to maximise the opportunities and experiences available to our pupils.  We will continue to work closely with our community in order to fulfil this commitment to our young people.

I invite you to explore the website and I hope that you find it to be a useful source of information.
